    Hannah Jeter and JoAnna Garcia Swisher are just a few A-listers who’ve been wooed by Major League Baseball athletes over the years.

    Garcia Swisher was acting for more than a decade before her now-husband, Nick Swisher , was drafted in 2002 by the Oakland Athletics. Two years later, Swisher made his MLB debut with the Oakland As, but it wasn’t until 2010 that he married the actress.

    “He was really consistent and he was very willing to prove himself. He’s like, ‘I don’t want you to think that I’m some stereotypical athlete,’” Garcia Swisher exclusively told Us Weekly in February 2018, recalling how she fell for her husband. “He was like, ‘I’m only going to be dating you and you are the only one, and until you believe that, I’ll be here reminding you of that.’ And that just really struck me like he’s in it to win it.”

    She confessed that being an athlete “wasn’t the first type of profession” she wanted in a partner. That changed when Garcia Swisher met Swisher. “I thought, ‘Wow, he’s just really refreshing and he’s really kind,’” she recalled.

    The model wed Derek in 2016, two years after he retired from his role as an infielder for the New York Yankees. The duo have since welcomed three daughters — Bella Raine, Story Grey and River Rose — in 2014, 2019 and 2021, respectively. In May 2023, the retired athlete announced that he and Hannah had welcomed their fourth child, son Kaius Green.

    The High School Musical star first sparked dating rumors with Cole Tucker in November 2020. The actress and the Pittsburgh Pirates player became Instagram official in February 2021. The pair quietly got engaged in December 2022 and tied the knot the following year. Hudgens announced in March 2024 that she is pregnant with the couple’s first baby.

    Days after winning the 2017 World Series with the Houston Astros, Verlander married the model in Italy. One year later, the couple welcomed their first child, daughter Genevieve, in November 2018.

    Jamie-Lynn Sigler

    The Sopranos alum got engaged to Cutter Dykstra in January 2013. Us confirmed in January 2016 that the couple tied the knot in Palm Springs after delaying their 2014 nuptials due to their hectic schedules. Dykstra was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 2008 draft. He signed a minor league contract with the Washington Nationals in 2015 and played for the organization until he was released in 2016.

    Sigler and Dykstra share two sons: Beau and Jack, born in August 2013 and January 2018, respectively.

    The “Jenny From the Block” singer was engaged to former New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez for two years before calling it quits in April 2021. They began dating in 2017, and the retired ball player popped the question in 2019.

    Ahead of his romance with Lopez, Rodriguez dated a slew of A-Listers, including Kate Hudson and Cameron Diaz . He was previously married to Cynthia Scurtis for six years before their 2008 split. The exes share two daughters, Natasha and Ella, whom they welcomed in 2004 and 2008, respectively.

    Lopez, for her part, was married to Marc Anthony for seven years before their 2011 split. They share twins Emme and Max, whom they welcomed in 2008.     The Sweet Magnolias star and the former Atlanta Braves outfielder tied the knot in 2010. They welcomed their first daughter, Emerson, in 2013. Their second child, daughter Sailor, was born three years later.

    The three-time Olympic gold medalist has been married to retired Dodgers player Matt Treanor since November 2004. The athletic pair share three daughters: Malia, born in June 2014, and twins Mele and Mia, born in November 2017.
